The John Hunter Health and Innovation Precinct (JHHIP) recently reached an exciting milestone.
The project team has commenced ‘breaking through’ from the back of the existing John Hunter Hospital.
This work supports the establishment of three link bridges between the existing hospital and the new building, which is under construction.
The detailed rendered image below highlights these link bridges and their planned usage.
These bridges will align with the hospital’s existing main entry to allow for easy movement from the front of the hospital all the way through to the new building at the rear.
