The project team has been working on the planning and design for the Cessnock Hospital Redevelopment and now it’s time to look ahead. In the first half of 2024, the team will review and confirm the concept design for the redevelopment. This stage delivers a ‘high level’ design, which shows the relationship between the clinical functions, services, buildings and other facilities.
Once we have a confirmed concept design, we will revisit schematic design, which is department focussed and outlines how rooms and services will connect in a defined space.
We look forward to showing staff and the community the progress of this work as a picture of the new building comes to life.
