Late last year, the National Aboriginal Design Agency (NADA) partnered with the region’s four Local Aboriginal Land Councils to co-create artworks designed to create a welcoming and culturally inclusive space for Aboriginal people in the new building.

A series of workshops were held with the support of Awabakal, Bahtabah, Biraban, and Worimi Elders where members of the community came together to share stories and drawings, some of which will be incorporated in the final artworks.

Jodie Reynolds was selected as the lead artist and has worked closely with NADA throughout the artwork development process which has been an exciting professional development opportunity for this local emerging artist.
