Have your say on demolition

The community is invited to provide feedback on the demolition works required for the next stage of works for Stage 2 of the Manning Base Hospital Redevelopment, with planning documents now on public exhibition.
Planning for the second stage of redevelopment for Manning Base Hospital is nearing completion with the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) now on public exhibition for the demolition works, involving demolition of the administration building, mortuary and old fever ward. Two bulk oxygen tanks will also be relocated at the site.
Following the completion of the competitive tender process, a builder will be engaged to start enabling works in 2025.
The Manning Base Hospital Redevelopment will include a new inpatient building to provide contemporary facilities to support best practice models of care. Improved connections around the campus will also be delivered to enhance accessibility and better integrate healthcare services.
The planning documents for the enabling works are available to view on Health Infrastructure’s website:
www.hinfra.health.nsw.gov.au/projects/on-exhibition
Feedback can be provided via the website until midnight on Monday, 17 February 2025.
