Helping girls be what they can see
Helping girls be what they can see
SHARE
The women of the project team were honoured to share the stage recently with Emma Williams (Wallace) at the Women in Business and Associated Services breakfast in Newcastle.
The event – sponsored by construction partner Multplex – is one of a series that are held so women in the building industry can network with their colleagues to exchange ideas and experiences.
Project Director, Narelle Bromilow, gave an overview of the John Hunter Health and Innovation Precinct and its status.
The group then heard from Emma Williams – author of
This Girl Built That
–
a story book designed to inspire primary-school aged children (particularly girls), to consider a job in the construction industry.
If you’re a woman and would like to get a Jump Start on a career in construction there are plenty of opportunities and lots of support.
